Our two-bedroom first-floor flat is a short walk from the lovely beaches of Bude and its bustling town centre with plenty of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs.
There is almost always a weekend event such as Bude Jazz Festival (see budejazzfestival.info Literary Festival 18-22 May 2023,or Lifeboat weekend - August Bank Holiday. There are great facilities for Golf, Pitch adn putt, Crazy Golf, Croquet, Swimming Pool, Bowls, etc. as well as lots of activities on and around the canal - including rowing boats, pedaloes, and kayaks. There are beautiful walks along the canal, round the town, along the cliff tops and of course, strolling along Bude's 7 Beaches - Black Rock, WIdemouth, Summerleaze, Crooklets, Northcott Mouth, Sandy Mouth, Duckpool

This first-floor apartment enjoys spectacular views over the Maer Lake nature reserve and beyond to Compass Point high above Bude harbour.

Situated just a few hundred yards from the South West Coast Path as it passes over Maer Down, the beaches of Northcott Mouth, Crooklets and Summerleaze are all within walking distance. Maer is a quiet hamlet within a 20-minute walk or a few minutes’ drive from the bustling centre of Bude with its good range of shops, pubs, bars, restaurants and takeaways. Bude is renowned for its sandy beaches, historic tidal sea pool, Atlantic surf and dramatic coastline. There are activities for all ages including 18-hole golf course, indoor pool and tenpin bowling. Also within easy access are the well-known attractions of North Devon and Cornwall such as The Milky Way, Big Sheep, Bodmin, Launceston Steam Railway and the charming villages of Port Isaac and Boscastle. Leisure facilities: shared tennis court for exclusive use of the apartments, racquets and balls provided.

This apartment offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin. Shower room: with WC. Open plan lounge/kitchen/diner: with TV, DVD, recliner chairs and dining table; leading to kitchen area which includes fridge, electric oven and microwave. Outside: extensive shared grounds provide play space, seating, BBQ area and tennis court. Amenities: parking for 2 cars. Bed linen, towels (not beach towels), electric, electric heating and Wi-Fi included. 2 well-behaved dogs welcome. Regret no smoking. Separate off-site communal laundry facilities with a coin meter. Additional info: Selection of books, games and DVDs available to use. Guests are also offered one free day to use the owners’ beach hut on Summerleaze Beach (by arrangement). Public beach huts can be booked for additional days through the Tourist Information Centre in Bude (subject to availability). During the main holiday season guests can use the shop, launderette, bar and entertainment facilities of a nearby caravan park.
