September is here 🍂

A big thank you to everyone who has visited us over the summer and helped make it such a memorable one. We’ve loved seeing the pub busy and enjoying plenty of sunshine with you all 🤩

For September, we’ll continue running separate bar and restaurant menus, with the same food service times for both 😊

We’ll see you for a drink, a bite to eat and hopefully a few more sunny days by the sea 🌊

We know it’s early… but Christmas bookings are now open! 🎄

Our Christmas menu will be running every evening throughout December, so if you’re already thinking about getting everyone together, now’s a good time to get it in the diary.

We’ll also be hosting our Xmas Party Nights on Friday 4th, 11th & 18th December.

Enjoy a three-course festive dinner, followed by live music and a DJ (live music to be confirmed). 🎶

A £10 per person deposit is required when booking. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Final numbers, menu choices and the remaining balance are required 3 weeks before your event.

Eclipse tomorrow night 😎

We’re looking forward to watching tomorrow night’s eclipse from the decking, overlooking Widemouth Bay 🤩

We’ve had a lot more interest in the eclipse glasses than we expected, so just to make everyone aware, we have limited sets available.

They’ll be available from 5pm tomorrow at the reception desk in our Surf Bar, on a first come, first served basis.

Glasses are available for a minimum £2 donation per set, with the option to donate more if you’d like. All donations will go to Cornwall Air Ambulance 🚁

There will be a maximum of 4 sets per purchase to give as many people as possible the chance to get a pair 🙌🏽

We’re sorry if we’re unable to meet the demand, but we’ll do our best to get glasses to as many people as possible.

A pretty good spot to watch the sunset… and an even better one for the eclipse next week 😍

On Wednesday 12th, the solar eclipse will be visible from Widemouth, and we have the best spot for it!

We’ll have eclipse glasses available in exchange for a donation to Cornwall Air Ambulance, so you can sit back, grab a drink and enjoy the eclipse from our west-facing decking 🙌🏽
