Please spare a thought for the people of Cornwall now that schools have been forced to close. There has been a marked increase since Friday of people flocking to Cornwall to escape the Corona Virus and self isolate in holiday homes. Whilst many people rely on tourism in the county the local NHS provision is inadequate to cope with the increasing numbers of visitors who may inadvertently bring the virus with them and accelerate its spread. There is one hospital and the number of critical care beds available is likely to be lower than where you live, added to that the population demographic is more elderly. Simply put if you travel to Cornwall and become ill in the coming weeks you will be putting yourself and the locals at greater risk medically than if you had taken the government advice to stay at home.
We have chosen not to take bookings during this period.

One of the perks of 'Working from Home' has meant we have been able to pop down to Widemouth and check up on a few jobs we've had done over the off season...
New sofa, new internal doors, lots of fresh paint work and new lighting in the living room and the bathrooms 🥳
Let's hope the virus situation is under control in time for the summer holidays ⛱🌊🏄‍♀️
