Gwelmor is a multi award-winning dog-friendly holiday home just five minutes walk from Widemouth Bay, near Bude, north Cornwall. Named Dog Friendly Business of the Year in the South West Tourism Excellence Awards and Cornwall Tourism Awards 2021/2022. We understand that your dog is part of the family and that holidays wouldn't be the same without them, and so at Gwelmor, they are part of our family too. Gwelmor has two king size bedrooms and one twin, an open plan kitchen, diner, living area with patio doors leading to a fully-enclosed rear garden.

There’s something rather lovely about the things guests leave behind for us on change-over day at Gwelmor.

Sometimes it’s a lovely review, a favourite book to add to our library, a recommendation for somewhere wonderful to eat and sometimes, unexpectedly, a beautiful painting.

During her recent stay, guest Rachael picked up her paintbrush and captured a little bit of the north Cornish coast with its blue skies, wild waves, golden sand and wildflowers running across the cliff edge.

And then, to say thank you for her holiday, she gifted it to us. The painting has since been beautifully framed and today we hung it in the hallway, ready to greet all our future guests visiting Gwelmor.

Thank you, Rachael, for leaving us such a beautiful little piece of your stay.
