❄️✨ We hope you enjoy these photos of the recent beautiful frosty mornings in Budleigh ....can you believe we’re nearly at the end of the 2025 season already?

After a wonderful season, our campsite will be taking a well-earned winter rest from 2nd December. We’ll be tucked up until 13th February, when we reopen for our Winter Seasonals and Touring!

In the meantime, we’ll be available on the camp phone for emergencies only. You can of course make bookings online during this time and email us but replies may take a little longer than usual.

Then it’s straight into the excitement of a brand-new Spring/Summer season from 27th March 2026! 🌼🌿

Have you been to Budleigh's beautiful wetlands yet?
Some very special visitors have been causing quite a buzz. 🦅OSPREY🦅 have been spotted feeding and resting during their incredible migration to West Africa!

Its a fabulous time of year to explore the nature around us. If you've managed to snap a photo, we'd love to see your pics 📸

🦅 OSPREYS ON THE OTTER 🦅

There have been daily Osprey sightings on the Otter Estuary over the past week including at least two juvenile birds!

Some excellent photos have led to the identification of one of the birds, that was ringed at a nest in the Tweed Valley, Scotland on 6th July. This individual has been seen regularly visiting to catch fish and often perched in the dead tree on Big Marsh.

These birds are feeding up to store fat before eventually heading south on their long migration to the African continent, where they will spend the winter.

🚨 CRIME WAVE CRACKED! 🦊
After a string of mysterious midnight raids, the culprit has finally been caught red-pawed — in an awning, no less!

This not-so-sly fox has been linked to several late-night snack thefts, one missing flip flop, and now... the Great Saucepan Incident.

Let this be your friendly reminder: keep those biscuits locked up and your awnings zipped. The fluff may be cute, but the mischief is real.
