We have some Canadian guests staying with us who need a taxi to Llandrindod Wells tomorrow morning (Monday 31st) at 9am.
We’ve tried a few taxi numbers both here and in Llandrindod but no answer.
Are any of our followers a taxi driver and able to accommodate our guests in the morning?

We’ve still got some availability for our charity afternoon tea next Saturday

SATURDAY 5TH SEPTEMBER 2pm - 5pm

Tables available at 2.30pm & 3.30pm for tables of up to 6 people.

For every afternoon tea booked £15 will be going to the charity 🥰

Not only will we be providing a classic afternoon tea containing;

🥪Selection of finger sandwiches
🍓Scones with jam & cream
🍰Lemon & Blueberry cake
🥕Carrot cake
and other sweet treats

But also a Gentlemen's Afternoon Tea also which will contain;

🧀Selection of Crusty Breads, Cheese, Terrine & Pate
🥚Scotch Eggs, Pork Pies, Sausage Rolls, 🐖Pork Scratchings
plus a few sweet treats also 🧁

This time we will be supporting Prostate Cancer UK which is an incredible charity supporting men going through this.

For every afternoon tea booked £15 will be going to the charity 🥰

Not only will we be providing a classic afternoon tea containing;

We are looking for versatile Hotel General Assistants to join our team.

What You Will Do:

🤓Guest Welcome: Greet arriving guests, handle check-ins/check-outs

☕️🍳Food & Beverage: Serve our delicious breakfast and drinks in our restaurant and bar area 🍹

🧹 Housekeeping: Keep our beautiful guest rooms and public lounges looking immaculate 🧽

👩🏻‍🤝‍👨🏼Team Support: Pitch in across all departments to ensure our guests have a memorable stay.

What We Are Looking For

🙂 People First: A warm, polite personality with great communication skills.

💪🏻Adaptability: A positive "can-do" attitude and willingness to learn different roles.

🗓️Flexibility: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends (This is non negotiable)

😎Reliability: A dependable team player who shows up ready to make a difference.

🔞Age Limit: Must be 18 or older due to licensing laws for serving alcohol.

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who came to our afternoon tea yesterday supporting Breast Cancer Now 🩷

It was so lovely to see so many people enjoying what was a marvellous afternoon and all while raising important funds for such a fantastic charitable cause. 🎀

We have not got our final figure yet of how much we raised but we know it was over £500, which is incredible!!! 😀

And, because this was such a huge success we have decided to do it all over again!! 🎉

Following on from a very busy show week, the hotel is closed today (Thursday 30th July) for us to have a little catch up with maintenance 🔨🚧

📞 Phone calls and emails will still be answered but unfortunately the bar and rooms are closed.
