🍎And that’s our 2026 apple harvest all safely delivered to Helen & Bill, the proud new owners of elginsorchardscotland now based at Byres Farm

🍏 We have a long heritage of growing fruit here at Duffus. Once I dig it out I’ll share some photos of some amazing printed booklets, dating from the 1800’s, published by one of Ed’s ancestors. They detail all the types of apples & pears grown here - over 140 & 120 different types respectively 😳

🏕️ Wow, after a long 4 year slog, we finally managed to get our campsite open on 29th May😅

🚐 Since then, the last few months have gone past in a flash. We’ve learned loads whilst also meeting loads incredible campers. It’s been great chatting to you all & hearing about your camping adventures around Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

🏕️ We’ve even had quite a few returning campers which has been particularly satisfying - we’re obviously doing something right 😅

🚐 Now we’ve hit October, we only have 4 weeks left of the season! Sooo, if you’ve been meaning to visit us, this is your nudge to get booking before we close at the end of the month. We’d love to welcome you 🤩

🎃 Every year I can’t help but decorate Duffus Estate with loads of them. And now we have The Koffie Box, that will also be getting some pumpkin love too! 🧡

🐮 Well, you all ‘met’ Agnes’s ample backside in my last reel (🙈) so here is the lovely lady herself!

🐮 Agnes is the matriarch of our 3 coos & likes to make sure they all fall in line. She loves getting groomed & also loves her food!

🐮 She might be a bit bolshy at times but we all love her - she’s a total character 😍

🍎 Apple harvest 2026 is underway!

🍏 We have lots of trees spread across the Estate, with some particularly knarly old ones in the walled garden at Duffus House.

🍎 This year I bought some old, vintage apple crates to store the apples while we’re picking all the trees. It’s great giving these crates, most of which are at least 50 years old, a new lease of life 💚

🍏 We have more to pick, but once we’re done we’ll be heading to elginsorchardscotland which is now based with our friends at Byres Farm to get the apples pressed and the juice pasteurised & bottled.

🍎 You are able to buy our handpicked apple juice at Duffus Estate , The Koffie Box at Duffus House & also from our wee campsite shop. Just like w**e, each year’s juice always tastes a little different from previous years.

🍏 This is one of our busiest but most enjoyable times of the year 🤩
