The new path at St Margaret's Church. The old wall previously covered by overgrowth of centuries and blocking this view of the church will be carefully repaired.

A steady stream of bookings already, especially for weekends. We have kept to last year's prices!

All the profits go to the church and local charities.

This year we have funded a breeden gravel path which is wheelchair and elderly friendly through the churchyard from the church carpark to St Margaret's porch. Thanks to Jon Brown for clearing the wall last summer and BOS garden services for undertaking the work.

We have given grants to Betty's Club a new venture at the Burnham Market surgery, for older people with memory problems, Music in the Burnhams - concerts and events organised by Marian Abramovitch, and the Burnham Market primary school who do such an amazing job. In addition to enjoying your holiday with us (85% are returners! ) you are benefitting our community, who have already expressed their gratitude for the financial support you provide.

Burnham Breck Camping; St Margaret’s Church
Grants for our community

The glebe land of St Margaret’s has hosted church camping since 2016, all the profits of which go to the church and local charities. The Burnham Market and Norton PCC has decided that £10,000 of its profits this year should go to local charities and has already donated to our wonderful primary school in Burnham Market.

We are looking for applications from other local charities who will benefit our community. Please send details of your project or proposal to the email address below.

Booking for this summer, August 1st – 28th , opens on January 1st on our website. Our brilliant onsite wardens Sue and Jon Brown, who give their services free of charge, will be there to look after you.

Lovely sea breeze despite 30 degrees, 15 at night

Still room during the week but w/es very busy. A lovely friendly atmosphere, with old friends meeting up, and often booking extra days which you can do on site if we have room. Just talk to Jon and Sue onsite wardens who are there to help, and know absolutely everything! Check our tides tables and beach info under amenities (3 plus beaches to choose from, and if you walk 100 yards from the entrance there is nobody. Most visitors can’t bear to be far from their car!

Thankyou all for your flurry of bookings! At least one for the whole month! It really is picking up after our lockdown by the planners, happily all behind us now. I am at the music festival at Greshams Holt (Dartington resurrected !) until Aug 3rd. Then I’ll be up at Burnham Breck around wine oclock! Jonathan
