We are a small hotel set in the wonderful seaside town of Burry Port. The town is the third largest town in Carmarthenshire, with close road and rail links, wonderful for a short get away. The Coasting Pilot dates back to the 1820`s reputedly the oldest pub in Burry Port. The pub has undergone many changes throughout the decades and Has resonantly Finished its complete interior refit. The Evans fa

mily has run the coasting for the past 35 years. We are a good family run business known locally for our outstanding food, good beer, wonderful atmosphere and most of all a good craic. Our pub is made up of a modern lounge and dining area, Reception area, The large bar hosts a pool table, state of the art jukebox, darts, big screen T.V's and hosts live music, Finally our new edition of a 60 seater restaurant at the rear on the premises. and try some of our fine beer and home cooked food.

This weekend we catered a very special function and showcased our new catering menu.

Bespoke menus selected by you to cater your wants & needs available either in house for your function or available to takeaway to have at your function venue.

If you have an event coming up- baby shower/ birthday party/ corporate event or any other function we can cater for all. Please get in touch to start creating your bespoke catering menu.

•Giant sausage rolls 2 ways- spicy chorizo & cheese / classic

We are excited to announce the opening of The Maine C**n Café 🐈 This Wednesday (14/01).

We have re-purposed our lounge space, to make way for Winston 🐈& Hendrick 🐈‍⬛ to stamp their paw marks 🐾 on the local Café scene.

Keep your eyes peeled for Photos & offers, we will be promoting in the next few days.

We will be posting our brand new menu 6pm tomorrow. Ready to feed all of your brunch cravings 🍳🥓🥗

From opening there will be two fully grown Maine C**n Cats on site. Winston & Hendrick, who will be free to roam the customer areas

We also have another Kitten on the way who will make its grand appearance when it’s ready to socialize.
