Our first Wine Wars event has sold out quickly!
Having quietly popped it on the website over the weekend we are delighted to have sold all fifty seats.
There have been quite a few calls about the event today so we have created a waitlist, and will also use the details to email you about a second date, which we will confirm very soon. Please email [email protected] to be added.
While excellent food and drink are always at the heart of what we do these events are designed to be fun.
Local wine expert Ed “The Wine Man” Keith will host alongside The Angel’s Tom Slegg for an evening of exceptional food, carefully chosen wines, and just a little friendly competition.
Guests will enjoy Champagne on arrival, followed by a specially designed four-course menu, with two competing wine pairings presented throughout the evening – one selected by Tom, the other by Ed.
After each course, guests will vote for the pairing they felt worked best by holding up the relevant paddle, before an overall winner is crowned at the end of the night.
Four courses, Champagne, 8 (!) wines, and lots of laughs.
We are thrilled by the response and we will keep you in the loop for the next one.
There is also one planned at our sister so do give them a follow too for a confirmed date and all the booking information. Salthouse main man is keen to take Ed on, too!
