Meet us — Mr & Mrs Windmill! 👋

What started as a slightly crazy idea to restore the derelict shell of a building has become a huge part of our lives.

We embarked on a journey of restoration, renovation and plenty of hard work to turn it into the unique luxury stay it is today.😁

Five floors, endless character, panoramic views and more than a few challenges along the way… but we wouldn’t change a thing. ❤️

We’re incredibly proud to have created somewhere that guests can come to switch off, slow down and experience something completely different.😍

And this autumn, we’ll be celebrating 10 years of The Windmill Suffolk! 🎉

This autumn marks 10 years since we opened the doors to award winning The Windmill Suffolk ❤️

But our story began long before that…...

Once a working windmill, our incredible building has watched over the Suffolk countryside for generations. ❤️

From the people who worked here all those years ago, to our dream of restoring it and giving it a whole new lease of life. ❤️

Today, the original character remains, but the windmill has been transformed into a unique five-floor luxury holiday accommodation — filled with spectacular views, celebrations and wonderful memories.❤️

We had the pleasure of welcoming the lovely Dan from HomeInspire for a day of filming — and what a perfect day to capture our special place. ☀️

With the sun shining, blue skies overhead and The Windmill looking as fabulous, we can’t wait to see what Dan creates.
