Where one door closes, another one opens so they say. The bed and breakfast is currently closed for business. I’m lucky enough to have been given a couple of opportunities to work out of the home and a change is as good as a rest. I may open again in the future. I just want to say a big thank you to all the guests that have come to stay with us. Sharing our home with guests and listening to their stories, has been an honour, and a complete joy! We’ve been lucky to have the most wonderful guests staying with us. I’ll miss it. The washing mountain not so much 🤣

I’ve got 6 young people staying (a group of 4 and a couple) who don’t know each other, all headed to Parklife. They are all chatting together in the dining room over breakfast. It’s really lovely 🥰. Wish I was going with them! 🙌🏻

Preparing for the Bank Holiday weekend!

We’ve got some returning guests coming today and I’m so excited. They first stayed for their wedding weekend. Returned with their twin babies and are returning again after living overseas with their 6 year olds! I love being able to see repeat visitors as their lives change and hear their stories! It is a joy. Happy Friday x

Currently having an photoshoot and I’m stalking around my house to try and understand how better to shoot my rooms! 🤣 She was very lovely, helpful and professional. I’m hoping to compare and contrast her shots with my poor attempts to show why it’s absolutely worth getting a professional in 🙌🏻👏🏻

Beautiful up on the hill yesterday! Another cracking day today. These are the best days for a long walk and a quick pub visit (thank you Holcombe Tap for a warm welcome after some icy weather). Home to light the fire and drink hot tea! Would have loved a nap but children prevent those best laid plans on the regular 🙄😊. Well played January, well played ❤️
