We’re looking for a volunteer to join us at Bushmills Hostel 👋

This opportunity could be ideal for a student or someone looking to spend time on the North Coast.

We’re seeking a responsible person to stay onsite overnight (no need to stay awake – just to be present). In return, we offer free accommodation, WiFi, heating and food for the duration of your stay.

Ideally, we’re looking for someone who can stay for 6–8 weeks or longer. The position is available from the end of March. There may be some light assistance with housekeeping from time to time. Full access to kitchen and laundry facilities is included.

The Causeway Coast is one of Northern Ireland’s most iconic walking destinations. From dramatic cliffs to golden beaches and ancient castles, there’s a trail for every pace — all with the Atlantic as your backdrop.

1️⃣ Causeway Coast Way – ~33 miles / 52 km
A long-distance trail linking Ballycastle and Portstewart, passing beaches, cliffs, castles and the Giant’s Causeway.

2️⃣ Ballintoy to Giant’s Causeway – ~8 miles / 13 km
An unforgettable stretch with rugged headlands, Dunseverick Castle and the Causeway as your finale.

3️⃣ Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge Walk – ~1.4 miles / 2.5 km
A short but thrilling walk to one of the most famous rope bridges in the world.
