It's taken slightly longer than planned but our new kitchen and dining room is complete, and we think it's definitely been worth waiting for!

We're now open again and taking bookings, so if you want to avoid the chaos of the airports this summer, maybe consider the Peak District instead.

Just a 25 minute drive from Tideswell, Haddon Hall is a beautiful Medieval and Tudor manor house. Visit this summer and take part in their Guided Walks within Haddon Medieval Park. They will be offering specialist Wildlife Walks, including a River Life Walk, a Birds Walk, a Butterflies Walk and a Trees Walk, plus two full-day Photography Workshops.

Today is National Walking Day! This summer we are proud to be launching a wonderful programme of Guided Walks within Haddon Medieval Park, allowing you to go behind the scenes into the beautiful acres of organic parkland that surround Haddon Hall, untouched for over 900 years and home to an incredible array of wildlife. We will be offering specialist Wildlife Walks, including a River Life Walk, a Birds Walk, a Butterflies Walk and a Trees Walk, plus two full-day Photography Workshops. All this AND our usual programme of popular Medieval Parkland Walks, which give you a fascinating overview of the history and ecology of Haddon Medieval Park. "The house is just beautiful, the decor is clean and fresh, the house was spotlessly clean and everything you could possibly need is at this property. The hosts are informative and check in was easy. The village is very peaceful. We went for our daughter in law's birthday and we will definitely be returning."
