Competition Time:
As you may have seen in the news recently, an incredible discovery has just been made near Gradbach!
For those of you who aren’t aware, Gradbach has long been known for the small colony of wallabies that for many years lived wild in the woods and moors, having been released from the Brocklehurst family’s private zoo during the Second World War. Popular belief held that the last of these wallabies died out several years ago; However, it turns out that the last few survived and have been living secretly alongside the local sheep.
Recent investigations by a prominent British Scientific Research Organization have now confirmed something extraordinary — the wallabies appear to have crossbred with the sheep and have created an entirely new hybrid species that’s better adapted to the harsh winter conditions! 🦘🐑
These woolly jumpers were first spotted living in an area called Back Forest which is situated towards the northern end of The Roaches. Due to the close proximity of Gradbach Scout Camp to the creatures woodland home, scientists are asking members of the Scout Association to take part in a competition to help name this remarkable new species!🎉
