Introducing The Stables at Ashleigh

We’re so excited to welcome a brand-new addition to Ashleigh!

The Stables apartment is now live and ready to welcome guests — and yes, we’re offering one-night stays too!

It may be a little different from our other apartments, but it still has everything you’ve come to expect from an Ashleigh stay: a super-comfy king-size bed, fluffy towels, complimentary toiletries and a cosy, welcoming space to relax and unwind.

We’ve put lots of thought into making The Stables feel special, and we really hope our guests love it as much as we do.

Discover the stories that make Buxton’s heritage unique this September! 🏛️✨

Heritage Open Days returns from 11–20 September, bringing a fantastic programme of FREE events celebrating this year's theme, Everyday Histories.

Coordinated by heritage and environmental conservation charity, Buxton Civic Association (BCA), and delivered in partnership with organisations across the town, this year's festival showcases the people, places and stories that make Buxton so special.

Step inside historic buildings, enjoy fascinating talks, explore exhibitions, take guided tours and discover hidden stories across the town.

Whether you're interested in architecture, local history, industrial heritage or simply love exploring somewhere new, there's something for everyone.

Highlights include:
🏛️ Open days at Buxton Opera House, the Assembly Rooms, churches and the Buxton Freemasons
🎤 Talks on Buxton's history and heritage with Buxton Town Team, Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust and Buxton Civic Association
🚶 The Grin Low Woods Audio Heritage Trail with Buxton Civic AssociationBuxton Civic Association and Poole's Cavern & Buxton Country Park
