Restocking our wonderful Signature Scent reed diffusers 🤭😍

Anyone who has stayed here knows we have always used reed diffusers from in our shower block and holiday lets. Their products are such incredible quality 💕

We’ve now developed our own signature scent in collaboration with Annie and her team and we are so excited to be stocking them in our on site shop/Reception 🥰

P.s. these smell absolutely incredible 🤤

Did you know we have EV chargers available at the site? ⚡️

As the demand for EV charging has increased, it’s been important for rural businesses like ours to adapt. As such, we had our double charge point installed last year.

In that time, we’ve hosted over 90 charging sessions, making life easier for EV users. Our nearest public charge point is 2.5 miles away and is only a 7kW (slow) charger, so having this facility for guests on site has meant they can leave their car plugged in overnight or during the day and not worry about being able to reach their next destination 😊

And no.. we haven’t had anyone fight over them yet 😉

Patricia, Pickle’s sister and another of our rescue hens is in the doghouse again… she’s found an escape route from the paddock she shares with her hen friends and now regularly escapes to find our warden, Mike 🤣

The funny thing is we named her after my Nan who passed away earlier this year (she loved chickens) and this is exactly the type of thing she would do if she were a hen 🤦‍♀️🥰

I like to think Nan is telling Patricia to be extra naughty from heaven just to give us a laugh! Luckily Mike finds her and puts her back. If you happen to see Patricia wandering around while you’re here, please do let us know 🤣

I’m so pleased to say the Hartington Hills Horsebox has been a hit 🥂

We open it on Friday and Saturday nights throughout the year, and also in the week during bank holidays and school holidays. The horsebox also serves coffees and pastries on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and during the week when we’re busy 🥰

Thank you to Bek our wonderful warden for pushing us to do this. We’ve wanted to do coffees for years, but Bek’s enthusiasm for the bar and the coffees is what encouraged us to finally make the investment 😁

Also thanks to for building our custom Horsebox with our signature blue 💕
