The countdown is almost over… our official 80th Anniversary cups have arrived, the marquee is up, and everything is coming together for an incredible Wakes weekend! 🙌

What a start to Wakes Week! 🎉

Last Saturday’s Little Saturday was absolutely brilliant – great atmosphere, plenty of smiles, music, food, and a fantastic turnout. A huge thank you to everyone who came down and helped kick things off in style!

And the good news? We’ve still got so much to look forward to this weekend…

🎺 Tideswell Brass Band live in the marquee from 7pm on Friday
🎪 Big Saturday with the bouncy castle, BBQ, music all day, Little George outdoor bar, slushies, ice creams and more
🍕 Sunday sees the return of the fantastic Sunshine Pizza Oven, serving up their incredible wood-fired pizzas fresh from the oven

If last weekend was anything to go by, this one is going to be something special. Grab your friends, bring the family, and come and enjoy the best of Wakes Week with us at The George!

A LOT of bands doing support call outs are farming the algorithm. I’ve done a call-out, and I don’t want to do that.

This challenge is about community, and I want to honour that by making this happen. A show in each bands hometown. Sound good?
