***Storm Darragh Update***

Storm Darrah has come and gone, it has had negatives and positives on our communities. We have found a sense of camaraderie here in Beddgelert, where everyone has banded together to support one another in the wake of the destruction and anguish of the storm.

The storm however, has left us at Bistro Hebog in a very difficult situation, like I’m sure all of the local businesses of the area. Owing to the electricity failing, we were devastated to have to close the doors to the Bistro over the weekend. Whilst the valiant attempts at getting the services back on line are so very much appreciated by us all, we have been unable to save thousands of pounds worth of fresh and frozen produce in the kitchen, which was fully prepared to welcome our lovely guests of the weekend and into the run up to Christmas.

We have been refused interruption insurance and the reimbursement from SP energy won’t cover a 10th of the losses incurred, and our only way to make it through the low season is to humbly ask for your support.

We will return to our regular trading hours from tomorrow (Wednesday 11th December), give us a call or book online via our website should you wish to book, it would be greatly appreciated.
Alternatively, we have created a Bistro Hebog Storm Resilience Voucher (SRV) in which we offer with no use by date, £5 discount (please use the code SRV5) and when redeemed comes with a glass of wine or draught beer as a thank you for helping us in our time of need. In order to see us through the low season, this voucher will be valid from 1st March 2025. If you are still looking for a last minute Christmas present or perhaps looking to dine with us in the new year, please consider a Bistro Hebog SRV voucher.
