Delightful mountain cottage with direct routes up to peak of Snowdon, Crib Goch, the Glyders and Tryfan. Wake up each day to enjoy the fascinating and ever changing landscape, enjoying that first coffee/tea overlooking a mountain stream. ns 'Boulder House'... and those sleeping in the crog loft of Ty Maen can climb out the bedroom window to sit on top of the boulder to watch the sunrise/set. (Don't tell the kids!)

They've been in the Hen-ITU since then and today experienced the pod attachment so get to see more of the outside world. Visitors aplenty.

Thelma and Louise laid the two pink/white eggs on the bottom row.

Louise has stopped hiding now when we go out. Thelma just hangs back and leaps forward at the sniff of the shaky corn tin.

We're planning to integrate them tomorrow night (after dark and straight to bed) so they sleep with the big girls, and they can go out - free range* - with them on Thursday morning to learn the lay of the land!

*Note, the humans will be supervising :)

Meet Thelma and Louise, two new additions to the flock! We collected them this morning from Henbant, a local permaculture farm..as they are replacing their flock.
They'll spend a couple of days in the chicken bedsit before being integrated in with the other Laydees
