The Black Boy Inn (or just Black Boy) in the Royal Town of Caernarfon in Gwynedd, Wales is a hotel and public house which is thought to date back to 1522, making it one of the oldest surviving inns in North Wales. It is within the medieval walls of Caernarfon, a few hundred yards from Caernarfon Castle. Our Head Chef Mark Jones has a wealth of experience and excels in international cuisine. He st

arted in the Stables locally here at the tender age of 15. With the recent addition of Ty Dre, there are now 39 high quality rooms whose residents will want to try our cuisine and we continually assess and review our resident’s feedback. Please feel free to send an e-mail with any observations regarding any dish or dishes you have experienced at The Black Boy Inn

A huge thank you to all of our loyal customers and those who visited us for the first time during last week's half term and Eisteddfod.
It was an incredibly busy week, much busier than we had anticipated and we were also operating with a reduced team as several of our staff were sitting their GCSE and A-Level exams. It is important to us that these younger staff feel supported to take their time to focus on their exams.
We know there were times when service may have taken a little longer than usual, so we really appreciate your patience, understanding and support throughout the week. Your kindness towards our team did not go unnoticed.
Despite the challenges, we got through it and that's thanks in no small part to our fantastic team. There’s nothing stronger than a team that pulls together like a family!
Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.
Love, John and the team

Diolch o galon i'n holl gwsmeriaid ffyddlon ac i'r rhai a ddaeth i ymweld â ni am y tro cyntaf yn ystod hanner tymor a'r Eisteddfod yr wythnos ddiwethaf.
Roedd hi'n wythnos hynod o brysur, llawer prysurach nag oedden ni wedi'i ddisgwyl ac roeddem hefyd yn gweithio gyda thîm llai gan fod nifer o'n staff yn sefyll eu harholiadau TGAU a Lefel A. Mae'n bwysig iawn i ni fod y staff ifanc yma'n teimlo eu bod yn cael y gefnogaeth a'r amser sydd eu hangen i ganolbwyntio ar eu harholiadau.
Rydyn ni'n gwybod bod adegau pan oedd y gwasanaeth ychydig yn arafach nag arfer, felly rydyn ni'n gwerthfawrogi'n fawr eich amynedd, eich dealltwriaeth a'ch cefnogaeth drwy gydol yr wythnos. Doedd eich caredigrwydd tuag at ein tîm ddim yn mynd heb ei sylwi.
Er gwaethaf yr heriau, fe lwyddon ni i ddod drwyddi, ac mae hynny'n ddiolch i'n tîm gwych. Does dim byd cryfach na thîm sy'n cydweithio fel teulu!
Edrychwn ymlaen at eich gweld chi i gyd eto'n fuan.
Cariad, John a'r tîm
