Hello everyone,

Hope you are all well! We've been quite busy at Sygun - apologies for the lack of posts lately. Hopefully there'll be some more in the future. Some good news; I've made it out of the kitchen and will be spending more time front of house. We have a new head chef, Jim Clack. Some of our regulars may be familiar with Jim, his food is excellent!

We've added a page for the restaurant, Sygun Fawr Restaurant, and are in process of setting up a Trip Advisor for it too (things are a bit slower with TA). If you have the time to give it a like or even review we'd appreciate it.

Been a lovely weekend despite the promised storms. Glorious weather today.

Hello everyone!

Hope you're all having a great 2017. It's been busy here at Sygun Fawr so apologies for it being a little quiet on the page. First off thanks to everyone over the last few months who have been giving us great feedback on Facebook and TripAdvisor - we really appreciate it! πŸ˜„

Some exciting news here. We've installed a pair of Tesla destination chargers at Sygun for guests using EVs or PHEVs. Technical specifications (i.e. output and vehicle compatibility) will be released in the coming weeks and we'll keep you updated. If you are interested in bringing your EV to Sygun please contact us directly to reserve a space when making a booking.

Great news that Snowdonia's been designated a dark sky reserve - one of only ten in the world - the stars really are amazing here at night. Yet to master using the camera to full effect but hopefully we'll get a few photos up over the Christmas holidays of the night sky. Hopefully we'll get some nice snowy photos like the ones we got last year, too (see below).

We just wanted to say a thank you to all our guests this year, it has been another great (and very busy!) year in Sygun and we look forward to welcoming you all back from next February after some R&R.
