“Emma’s cottage was perfect for our stay in Snowdonia, it was clean and cosy and had everything you would need.

She was the perfect host, great communication and great recommendations and even left us some essentials like bread, butter, milk and some other treats which was a really nice touch.

It was also great that Netflix etc was all signed in on the guest profiles so it was quick and easy to put something on when having a cosy night in.

The location is beautiful, you can hear the stream outside when going to sleep, and there’s some great pubs/ cafes and shops to buy gifts and groceries within a minute or two walking distance.

As beddgelert is in the centre of Snowdonia we were only an hours drive away maximum from what we wanted to do/visit.

We couldn’t of asked for a better stay.”

I always get guests commenting on this piece on the lounge wall. I have had it for years and love the message it gave to my children when it hung in my home.

The beautiful Portmeirion Village.
Situated on a private peninsula overlooking stunning coastal scenery, the Italian Riviera meets rural Wales with a riot of colour and architectural styles at Portmeirion Village. Built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis, Portmeirion is now one of Wales’ most popular tourist destinations.
Portmeirion Village is well known as the location for the 1960s cult TV series The Prisoner. It comprises a cluster of colour-washed buildings around a central piazza, scenic surroundings and extensive woodlands, two hotels, historic cottages, gift shops, spa & award winning restaurants.
It’s also a magical place to take children, with the village, woodland trail and beach front, allowing their imaginations to run wild, along with lashings of Ice cream and coffee!

R E D S K Y at night shepherds delight 🐑
This sunset a few weeks ago was simply WOW! I came out of our house (we also live in the village) and the light was different. I ran and fetched Regan, strolling down to the footbridge over the river just as this happened.
A Magical moment!

🌿 R e v i e w 🌿

Emma’s place was an excellent choice for our one week stay in Snowdonia. Beautifully decorated, great location in the centre of the village, never any problem with the parking, it even has a pretty back garden where we could enjoy our morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Beddgelert is a great place to explore Snowdonia, but also Welsh coast and Anglesey. It is very picturesque. The cottage itself is cosy and has everything one could possibly need. Emma has been a great host from the very start, her hospitality exceeded our expectations. We would defiantly stay again.

It’s been a long time since I posted! And the season is full on! It’s fabulous to have people back. One thing I have realised is how much I love to host. Every single family, couple, child or dog that comes to stay I relish making the experience a special one. Even down to the way I leave the mood lights on and doors ajar so that you can discover your holiday pad on arrival. THANK YOU to everyone who had stayed previously or who will be coming in the future.
