Dydd Gŵyl Dewi! 🌼 St David’s Day
March brings colour back to Wales, a land steeped in history and song, shaped by mountains and sea.
The daffodils are in bloom, there are longer days ahead, and Spring celebrations begin as we gather together for St David’s Day on 1st March this weekend.
It’s a time to honour our heritage, language and landscapes and with the Easter holidays just around the corner, there’s no better moment to plan a spring escape to the beautiful Llŷn Peninsula.
At the heart of it all is Saint David, whose simple message “Do the little things” still deeply resonates and inspires in today’s busy world.
If you’re local to Bach Wen or staying with us don’t miss:
🎈 The Caernarfon Parade (1pm from Cei Llechi)
🏰 Caernarfon Castle an icon of Wales is open to all with free entry
🎶 Traditional live Welsh music and choirs across Gwynedd
🌿 A spring stroll through to see the daffodils, snowdrops, otters and stoats!
Make a day of it in Caernarfon - explore the castle, browse Palace Street’s independent shops, enjoy lunch overlooking the Menai Strait at The Anglesey Arms, then head back to Bach Wen for a cosy cottage or Dandelion pod stay by the sea.
