Following lots of negative feedback and allegations of hidden agendas with regards to immigration centres / flats etc , this was our response -

We are investing allot of time and money to give the place a better chance , we are trying to make it a better place , accessible to all , families , soft play , swings , benches , bbq area . Also Refurbishment of all the hotel rooms …

Once we have done our bit , it really is then down to the locals and the people that decide to visit and use it … we have tried our best also to make it affordable in these tough times , £2.50 a pint is unheard of in this industry apart from weather spoons but that’s a different style of pub . We keep the heating on constant and clean daily to make it a pleasant place to visit. All in all we will spend over £120k on it over the next 6 months . The top and bottom of the job is that if people don’t use it then it won’t be viable to continue , we hope this is not the case so we are trying our best !!! In real terms it needs 3 times the current turnover for the business to be viable , we don’t expect this to happen overnight so let’s see what happens over the next 12 months … 🍺🍺

Hopefully we will see a good crowd for the rugby - if free food and £2-50 a pint doesn’t bring people through the door to a nice warm pub then I don’t know what will !? 🍻🍻🍻
