A quick reminder that we have our Easter Bonnet Competition tomorrow morning at 10:00 am .....at the shop.
Prizes 1st, 2nd and 3rd for Children and Adults.......
Followed by our Egg Hunt.........
There will also be Bacon/Sausage Baps available for a donation to Charity....funds will be going to St Kentigern's Hospice.....

Safety Upgrade Announcement
Subject: Open-flued Gas Water Heaters
Dear Valued Customer,
We are writing to address a safety concern regarding the Morco open-flued gas water heaters when they have been
serviced or commissioned incorrectly. The appliances are safe to use provided they have been correctly maintained
by a qualified Gas Safe registered engineer.
This announcement is to provide the parks and end users with information surrounding the nature of the safety
concern and the corrective actions that will need to be carried out to rectify the issue.
The models affected were supplied into the industry between 2018 and 2023, see below list of models:
MP6 (Primo 6) Morco Primo 6 Litre
MP11 (Primo 11) Morco Primo 11 Litre
EUP6 6 Litre Water Heater Open Flue
EUP11 11 Litre Water Heater Open Flue

At Morco, we have been committed to addressing this issue and have conducted exhaustive testing on each of the
appliances to understand the nature of the problem. As a result, we have discovered the need to replace the plastic
control k***s and front bezel (Safety upgrade service pack) due to possible gas leaks igniting and causing these
components to ignite and melt, if the appliance has not been installed, commissioned, or serviced correctly. We
would kindly ask anyone owning a holiday caravan where one of the affected appliances has been installed to
contact Morco by completing the form available on our website link below.

We will then arrange for a Gas Safe Registered Engineer to fit the Safety upgrade service pack, and simultaneously
conduct a health check on the appliance surrounding the areas of concern included in the Gas Safety alert.
Please note: These service packs can only be installed by using a Gas Safe registered engineer to ensure safety and
compliance.

Hello - Scottish Power are planning to transfer our power supply back to the main network between 8 pm and 12 am this evening - 16.05.2024 – During the switch over we will be without power for approximately 10 minutes. Thank you.

Hello - just to let everyone know that following the storm on Sunday evening we suffered a power failure - we have a generator supplying power to the static and touring park since Monday morning - we are hoping to be back on mains power supply by Friday at the latest.

We would advise that you take care with phone/electrical equipment in the caravans when you are here at the weekend as there has been damage to some phones, power sockets and ariels.

We also have no phone lines or internet connections at the moment - this is why we are not answering the phone - we have limited access to emails - this is the best way to get in touch - [email protected] - and we will try to get back to you as soon as we can. We understand that it might take until early next week to restore the phone and internet.
