Wentworth Chalets

Wentworth Chalets A small family run chalet park in Caister-On-Sea. Accommodation ranges from a one bedroom 2 person chalet to three bedroom 5 person chalet.

Wentworth is a small, compact chalet site established in the 1960s and in our ownership since 1999. Most regular customers use us as a base, but the general layout does not lend itself to families who would normally spend a lot of time on-site. All chalets are equipped with:
• Fitted lounge and bedroom heaters
• Colour TV, full-size electric cooker, microwave and toaster.
• Kitchen equipment, c

hina and cutlery
• Bed linen and towels included. For persons staying longer than a week, a change can be provided on Fridays.
• Bedrooms and lounge are carpeted
Sorry, no dogs accepted. Persons with cats or guide/ assistant dogs are asked to contact the proprietor. Children are welcome but there are no play facilities on site. Car parking for one car per chalet is catered for. If more than one car will be coming, please indicate this on your booking form

We are saddened to share the news that Alan Pegg the previous owner of the Chalets has passed away.
Our thoughts are with his family in this difficult time.

Blooper reel!
Liz and I went full method acting for one of the photos last week. The first attempt did not go to plan. 🫣😆

Competition is closed! The winner was Charlotte Coulson who correctly guessed that Liz has never been accidentally locked in a chalet she snuck in to scare me.
Thanks for playing everyone, it's been highly amusing! 😆

So for the final time. Surely Tim would never come running believing Rosemary to be stuck in a bin?? Or would he? 🤔

I have no idea why anyone would think I live in the laundry room. Must be nonsense, right? 🤔😆

Today's pondering. Is Rosemary a serial chalet napper? 🤔

The sun has shone briefly and that signals it time for a competition!
To win £70 off a booking with us (existing or new) simply comment with the correct answer. You must also like this post and be following our page. 🙂
Competition will close 2nd March. Good luck!

The game is 4 truths and 1 lie. Which of these statements from Rosemary is the lie, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5? 🤔
Only 1 guess per person.

1. I have taken a nap in every chalet type.

2. I once had bed linen so bad I considered burning it rather than cleaning it.

3. I once accidentally locked Liz in a chalet she had snuck in to scare me.

4. My nieces and nephew used to think I lived in the laundry room.

5. Tim once came hurrying down to the Chalets after a miscommunication had him believing I had fallen in and gotten trapped in a bin.

Spotted these this morning. Think they must be a subspecies called Daftodils! It's definitely not Spring yet! 🫣😆

I have been remiss in forgetting a very special thank you. 😮

For as many years as I can remember, Julie was a cornerstone of Grasmere Caravan Park. With the change of Owners she decided it was the right time to step back and take some more time for herself and her family.
We truly could not have hoped for a more loyal and hardworking employee and friend. We know she will be greatly missed but she has earned a good rest!.. Although I keep saying she can come and help down the Chalets from time to time if she wants. You never know maybe she'll take pity on me. 😜😆

Thank you Julie!

This time of year I gather up all the pots and hanging baskets to put away for the winter. Normally they've mostly died off by now but this year the hanging baskets are still flourishing! 😮😆
