Welcome to Thackray House... A historic house originally built in 1625 as a hunting lodge for the Dukes of Perth before becoming a hotel and restaurant in 1939. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Its situation in the year-round stunningly beautiful Trossachs and Loch Lomond National Park makes it a haven for outdoor activities of all types. Fishing enthusiasts... 🐟 Did you know that we have our own salmon, seatrout and brown trout fishing on the River Teith which is free for resident guests and available to non-residents?

Fishing is also available on the renowned Landrick estate four miles downstream as well as at Gart Farm and Cambusmore. In addition to salmon fishing on the Teith, we can also arrange fishing on both the River Earn, and the River Tay as well as loch fishing for wild brown trout.
