Little Late to the Party, but we would like to wish everyone a Happy 2024.

Before 12th Night, we came down to take the Christmas Tree down, we hope all who saw it, got to enjoy it.

In getting the property ready for guests arriving this week, we called into a local, fantastic establishment that we can't highly recommend enough, especially if you enjoy good, wholesome food, and especially love a good Sunday Roast!

With only 18 days left until Christmas Day, we would like to wish everyone a Happy Holiday time ahead, be it at home with family, or visiting relatives or friends.

We have set up a Christmas Tree in the big window so be it inside or out, everyone can enjoy a little season cheer.

We have availability this year, so if you are looking for a Cornwall Christmas or a Boxing Day walk on Dartmoor National Park, there is still time, just drop us a message.

We've been quite quiet in recent months from social media, with a long period of the property occupied.

We're all for supporting local businesses, so tonight it was a 2 for 1.

Popped into Callington, to The Cornish Ancestor, a local micropub who serve fantastic Real Ales and ciders, from local and regional producers. For those who don't want to stay in, they do offer takeaway.

And with that, Lil' Pizza Heaven were setup outside, creating a wonderful range of artisan pizzas which can be enjoyed. They visit here nearly every other week, and well loved by the locals.

When supporting places like this, you also support other local businesses.

It's Friday, so that means it's Fish and Chips Day (But that can be any day down here in Cornwall!)

We're lucky to have only 5 minutes away this local fish and chip shop in Drakeswells, only 1.6 miles from door to door. If you are looking for local businesses, no need to go any further but of course there are lots of fantastic food places on offer locally.

We have made some changes to the property this year, improved on some of the basics and we will be making and improving more over the next year to allow guests to have a better experience.

We are grateful for the reviews and feedback from guests, and want to make this into a place that people can feel is a 'Home from Home'.

We are fortunate to have so many fantastic eateries in the local area, but it's a competition for who puts on the best Sunday Roast.

Luckily today, we called into The Rising Sun Inn Gunnislake for some of their St Dominic Topside of Beef with all of the trimmings!

If visiting Kit's Korner, hopefully you can enjoy some of the excellent food on offer, from locally sourced to perfectly picked menus.

In reducing our Waste Impact and helping the environment, we have installed the 32 inch TV into the Double Bedroom, mounted on the wall, and upgraded it with Smart TV features, giving guests all of the options they would find at home.

We are already getting new bookings for 2022, so if you wish to stay at Kit's Korner, please get in touch.

After a long day, we are happy to confirm that Kit's Korner is another step forward being in the 21st Century.

As well as the new WIFI in the property, free to all guests, we have now installed a HIVE thermostat to help on the cold, wet days and to reduce wasted energy.

We've made mistakes in the past, and after getting a new contractor in, we can guarantee you will enjoy the hot shower, thanks to a water pressure boost now connected that keeps it pumping out constantly.

To brighten up the outside we've now painted our bench a vibrant blue to go with the orange awning.

And to reduce our waste impact, and give Mum and Dad some peace and quiet, we've installed the 32 inch TV in the Double Bedroom!

Staying here this year is going to be better than before, we hope. 🤞🏻

It's all go today at Kitt's Korner, with contractors in doing improvements to the property. WiFi will be available from this afternoon.

We'd like to apologise to any neighbours for all the drilling and building work going on, should be finished tonight.

Time to update and up-size the TV in the lounge area, ideal for those nights in, resting after a great day out. As well as the TV, there is a Blu-Ray Player in the property, so from big kids to the littles ones, entertainment is covered.
