An afternoon off yesterday exploring the coastline around Porthallow in the most incredible weather ☀️

The sea was glass-like, the sky crystal clear, and the whole coastline felt wonderfully calm and still. One very curious seal seemed just as interested in us as we were in him, popping up beside us and following along as we moved further around the coast 🦭

Little moments like this remind us just how lucky we are to call Cornwall home. Absolutely beautiful.

The Den… where little imaginations run wild ✨🧸

Hidden away inside The Old Dairy, this cosy little nook has become a huge hit with our younger guests. A space for games,films, giggles and those all-important “this is MY room” moments 😅

We’ll be sharing the sweetest review from three of our recent younger guests in our stories today, and it’s safe to say The Den earned their seal of approval 💛

Sometimes the best places are the ones tucked quietly off the main path… 🌿

We headed out with iWalk Cornwall to explore Baker’s Pit & Rogers’ Tower and found winding trails, big skies, old mining history and hardly another soul around. Exactly the kind of slower Cornwall we love discovering.

One of the things we love most about living here is that even after busy beach days and popular hotspots, there’s always another hidden corner waiting quietly in the wings. 🥾✨

Two little windows of summer have quietly opened in The Old Dairy… ☀️

22nd May and 10th July are now available — rare gaps in what’s otherwise a very full season.
The Old Dairy is made for those easy, memory-filled stays… slow mornings, children tucked away in The Den, dogs flopped out after beach days, and evenings that end in the hot tub under a soft Cornish sky.

The courtyard is waking up. 🌿

We've been quietly pottering out there this week, planting things, moving things, watching what survived winter. It's not quite finished yet, but honestly, it never is. That's part of it.
