Another lovely review and photo from our guests ❤️

This is such a special place to stay. You are right up on the moors with an incredible view down to St Ives. Lots of wildlife about. Everything is perfectly set up for dog owners, it made such a difference to our holiday having all the pooch stuff catered for. The hosts were brilliant, so friendly and helpful. We did lots of day trips to Penzance, North Coast and Lands End. Great stay, will definitely come again!

We do get some very well dressed guests! These guys had a ball, why don’t you join them?
We still have a couple of dates in August and September (26/08 -02/09, 02/09 - 09/09) in The Glade.

I love The Glade at night ❤️Thanks to our lovely guests for taking such a gorgeous picture and writing such a fab review ❤️

We had a wonderful stay in The Glade, Kernowbears Glamping. It was all we could have imagined! Nina and Digby have created a truly magical place. For those who like their creature comforts- these are ALL there, from hot showers to cosy beds 🥰. Cornwall threw all its glory and excitement at us during our stay- the camp is a perfect spot from which to adventure, or just chill out !
Can’t wait to come back. Thank you!

Fancy toasting marshmallows while you watch the sunset over the sea?

Only 5 miles from the coast with loads of fun days out within east reach.
Dogs allowed off lead and very very welcome.
Fully enclosed dog walking field for the floofs who view recall as a suggestion.

We still have some available dates for a week long break this summer.
July 15th - 22nd
July 29th and August 19th both tents available for a week if you want to book with a friend or family member.
August 5th -12th.
Only £800 per week for the whole family all year round, we don’t increase our prices in school holidays.

🐾 Things to do whilst staying at Kernowbears Glamping.

South Wheal Frances is a 6 minute drive from our Dog Friendly Glamping site. It was part of the Bassett Mines which worked the Great Flat Lode accessing the copper and tin.
The flat lode is a 7.5 mile circular walk, it might be too much in one go for some, but we guarantee that however far you get, you will enjoy it.
Complete with panoramic views from Carn Brea, King Edward Mine museum, the Shire Horse and Carriage museum and vast amounts of mining heritage.
Its the perfect place to have a picnic and a day out with the doggies..
If you don’t want to pack a picnic then The Croust Hut cafe serve delicious food.

Going the extra mile..
We pride ourselves at Kernowbears Glamping on going the extra mile for our guests.
This year we have:
Welcome packs for both our human and our furry guests.
The humans have access to board games and swing ball sets, the hounds have their own toy library.
The humans get bath towels provided - and the hounds get a chamois type bath towel too.
Complementary eco friendly toiletries are provided for the humans. There is fox poo shampoo and access to our own grooming room for our furry guests 😆
All crockery and kitchenware is provided for the humans in their own private kitchen, the hounds have a water bowl and food bowl.
There are freezers on site for cool box ice packs for human food, and if you are a raw feeder, just stick the weeks meals in it for your hound.

Kernowbears Dog Friendly Glamping opens again this week!

We still have some availability this season, including the Glade available for the week of Friday the 3rd of June to Friday the 10th of June, which of course covers the Jubilee bank holiday! I don’t think that week will hang around so be quick.
There is some availability in July and August. It’s a minimum 7 night stay with Friday arrival and departure.

As you can imagine, we love our doggy guests, they get their own welcome pack, a freezer onsite for our raw feeders, bowls, a toy library and acres of fully fenced space to roam in.

Our fanstastic location is surrounded by historic landmarks.
Literally a stones throw away you can find Carwynnen Quoit.
A dolmen, belonging to the Neolithic period. Backing on to a 40 acre woodland and being only a 25 minute walk from our site.
Its the Perfect place to explore and have fun with the pooch.
