The recent sunny weather is starting to get the Fisher family in the mood for camping. Excited to open on May 26th (late bank hol), but beginning to wish it was earlier. Never mind. And you can have too much of a good thing! Moove over cows - we're going to need to get in there pretty soon!

Really excited to confirm that Cuckoo Fen will be open again for summer 2021, with a few improvements. Opening 16 July to 5 Sept, we'll have more loos and showers and a communal pizza oven, to mention a couple. And this year you can check availability and book online at cuckoofen.co.uk

Been putting in water pipes for the showers today. Noticed on the way out that the gate post doesn't seem to approve of the new comings and goings!

Really relieved that campsites are allowed to open from July 4th, and we can't wait. We're not opening until August 1st but I'm pleased to say bookings are starting to gain momentum. Might need to scale up WC and shower production at this rate!

Some of the wildlife of Cuckoo Fen captured earlier in the year... Hopefully there'll be some badger cubs snuffling around by now.
The kids and I are looking forward to staying up late to get a glimpse. Hopefully we'll find some tracks to make plaster casts of too...

Our fingers are crossed that the government is going to let us open by August. Either way, if you book direct with us, you'll get everything back if we can't open.
