Saturday 23rd July is our first 'Lads Night out' this year, another great evening of friendship and brotherhood is guaranteed, with two prospective Candidates, one on his second Social event.

We have done this for some years now and find it very enjoyable for all to socialise outside of the formalities and time constraints of the Lodge.

Less intimidating for a lot of prospective Candidates, it also allows us and them to meet in a relaxed atmosphere.

Another enjoyable CLB visit taking initiates to Thirkill Lodge yesterday to watch a new brother be initiated. Congratulations to Thirkill for the wonderful evening and being our host. The club were more than happy to bring 8 visitors from the buddies scheme and 5 members of the wider CLB. The raffle of the evening made Β£200 which will be donated to the Festival 2023.

The next visits are being planned for the end of April at Lodge of United Good Fellowship No. 809 and May at The Lodge of Three Grand Principals No. 441. Any light blue is invited to attend, the more visits we host the better they become.

There is also an open invitation to any brother to attend an event organised by the Three Pillars and CCH and to which the CLB committee member Terence Parsons of Sait Ovin Lodge 7774 is coordinating. If you are interested, please arrive tomorrow evening at 5.30pm at the Guildhall (Petty Cury side). The evening tour of Cambridge is expected to end at 8pm. PM for details.

Brethren All,
As we enter February the Glittering Star Installation meeting draws ever closer and the work of organising the event starts in earnest as of this evening.
Glittering Star is delighted to advise that we will be joined at the Installation meeting by R.W. Bro. Philip Daley, Grand Secretary of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Ireland along with several other distinguished visitors from the Emerald Isle.
I am now able to confirm the menu for the Festive Board at the Glittering Star Installation meeting to be held at Kings Heath Freemasons Hall on Saturday, 19th March.
We have opted for a standard menu and would ask you to make me aware of any dietary, cultural or religious requirements or allergens so I may source an alternative meal.
Starter :
Salmon Rillette with Cucumber Ribbons
Main Course served with the Chef's Selection of Seasonal Vegetables :
Roast Rump of Beef Yorkshire Pudding and Gravy
Desert :
Apple Pie and Custard
The cost of the meal will be Β£25.00 per person, including wine and I would request that payment be made prior to the Installation meeting either by Bank Transfer or by cheque.
