The bifolds are a whooping 4m wide so many curtains are too heavy for the 2 x 2m poles - in the past we’ve had poles that dip in the middle!
The poles were replaced with wooden dowels - this worked much better, but there was still a dip!
Changed the curtains in the summer to less heavier ones but they weren’t quite wide enough so when drawn they only just met in the middle with an annoying gap at the top 😑
The combo of weight and width of curtains, (plus expense of made to measure) was the problem 😅
SO, now up, as of today, are 2 ‘somethings’ disguised as curtains…can you guess what they actually are? 🤔🤗
Seems to work - not too heavy, no dips in the curtain poles, washable, still allows light in and a good price.
What could they be??? 😁🤭
