Our Story

Relax and unwind in our beautiful, fully furnished, Belle Tents here in North Cornwall on our small private site with camp fire, barbecue area and chill-out tent. The site can accommodate groups of up to 16 people and is available for hire exclusively for yourselves. Beds, duvets and fully equipped kitchen cabins are all provided, just bring bed linen, food and yourselves. The tents are arranged into three 'camps'. Each camp consists of two bedroom tents and a fully equipped kitchen cabin and is sited in it's own garden area with shrubs and flowers, so it's a bit like a two bedroom cottage only without the cottage - good for families who wish to holiday together.

Belle Tents Camping is at our home, Owls Gate, which is set in 2½ acres of gardens on the edge of Bodmin Moor and 5 miles from the North Cornwall coast. Secluded at the end of a farm track, we are on the side of a shallow valley and surrounded on three sides by open farmland, home to ponies and rare breed cattle. To the north we are protected by beech trees, beyond which is our only neighbour (100 metres). Close by is our workshop where we make the camping tents.

The campsite itself is in a landscaped south and west facing field with the south bordering onto farmland. It is divided into three shallow terraces with young trees, shrubs and flowers.
