On another FB page someone had shared a link to:

and it took me ages to realise that CalMac had flipped the picture. Not withstanding this error the Ardrossan rail/ferry link is really handy for visits to Campbeltown. Just book your bunk before setting off.
The picture of the blue boat pointing to the left is the correct one.

There has been some activity in the twitcher tweetershere recently as a juvenile north american herring gull has been spotted in Campbeltown Harbour. We have had a number of guests come to stay at Backpackers while looking for this unusual visitor to our shores.
