Enjoy the garden area in the summer months and admire our beautiful garden or come and join us in the tearoom by our cosy log fire. Springslade Lodge is a Café and Tea Room providing all types of refreshments from hot and cold drinks, bacon and sausage sandwich snacks to comfortable sit down lunchtime meals. There are comfortable traditional indoor facilities and a private garden with benches and tables where you can enjoy the quality meals, snacks and drinks prepared by Kaye and her staff. Springslade Lodge is ideally placed for all sorts of exciting and different outdoor family party activities. Springslade Lodge is ideally placed for walkers and ramblers enjoying the Cannock Chase heathland, horse riders using the many bridleways, mountain bike riders, road cyclists and the camping and caravan enthusiasts who can make use of the hideaway camping site behind the Lodge. It is also ideally placed for visitors to the Commonwealth War Graves and the Katyn Memorial (approx 400m from the Tea Room).

Our festive set menu and afternoon tea will be available every day throughout the Christmas period 🍽️

Booking is essential for afternoon tea 🍰For the set menu booking ahead is recommended 🗓️ But feeling spontaneous? Our set menu will also be available to order on the day, subject to availability.

🌿 The campsite is looking lovely and green again! 🌿

After some much-needed rain, everything is looking fresh and beautiful here at Springslade Lodge. 🍂

If you fancy a last-minute autumn escape, we’re still taking bookings right through until October half term — up to and including 31st October. 🚐⛺️

From 31st October, our shower and toilet block will be closed for the winter. This is because of the risk of freezing pipes when the temperatures drop. There will also be no water available on site during the winter months.

However, we do have two hardstanding pitches available throughout the year. From 31st October onwards, you would need to have your own onboard toilet facilities, as there will be no toilet, shower or water facilities available on site.

So, if you fancy one last little getaway before winter really sets in, come and enjoy the countryside while it’s looking so lovely! 🍁🌳
