Each bell consists of a patio area with seating and a BBQ/fire pit which is a perfect way to sit back and admire the stunning scenery across open fields eating al-fresco whilst enjoying the tranquil surroundings. Each of the bell tents vary slightly in decor with two having the added luxury of a wood fire hot tub and hammock looking out across the vast landscape. Our tents and kitchenettes are off grid running on LPG gas and solar power but we have included a 2 port USB charger for the all important gadgets. Whilst staying at Chitty Chitty Glamping keep your eyes open for our resident Barn owls, Marsh Harriers, Woodpeckers, Kingfishers to name but a few and our Hedgehog at the Hedgehog retreat! Walks and bike rides through the countryside are a must with the Gate Inn and Grove Ferry Inn nearby to wet the whistle and enjoy lunch/dinner. The City of Canterbury is approximately 15/20 minute drive boasting its magnificent cathedral and pubs and restaurants a plenty. Reculver is a short drive away with its historical tower ruins. The seaside town Herne bay is just down the road which offers the perfect setting for some fish and chips. Margate, Ramsgate, Whitsable and Broadstairs are all within a 30 minute drive.
