The Georgian Suite at Broome Park. 🤍

Built in the 1630s, this room has been hosting celebrations for nearly four centuries.

The original bay windows pull light across the whole space throughout the day, and the period features that line the walls have been here since the mansion was first built.

It seats up to 120 guests for a ceremony and has the most elegant atmosphere. ✨

This blue plaque marks the former home of Field Marshal Horatio Herbert Kitchener, 1st Earl Kitchener of Khartoum, who lived at Broome Park from 1911 until 1916. A hugely influential soldier and statesman, Kitchener is particularly remembered for his role as Secretary of State for War during the First World War.

The plaque also recognises his connection to Khartoum, the city with which he became forever associated following his military campaign in Sudan.

Today, the plaque remains on the historic brickwork at Broome Park, offering a small but fascinating reminder of the remarkable people and stories connected to the estate✨
