🫒 Small milestones in the Hawthorn Farm garden!
Our little potted olive tree by the farmhouse porch wall has given us a grand total of TWO olives this year!! It might not sound like a lot, but it is two more than we’ve ever had before, and we couldn't be prouder. 😄
They won't quite ripen into purple-black beauty in the autumn chill, but they're a great sign of things to come. The pot is getting an upgrade to a tougher new pot in the spring, and we are crossing our fingers for a bigger harvest next year. 🤞

Sometimes the smallest achievements bring the biggest smiles!! ✨

Look who dropped by Hawthorn Farm this afternoon! 🦜✨

For the first time in 10 years, we have spotted a beautiful rose-ringed parakeet visiting our trees! These bright green visitors are famous around parts of the UK, but seeing one right here at the farm is a truly rare treat for us.

Our holiday cottage guests always enjoy the local wildlife, but this colorful character definitely stole the show today. Keep your eyes peeled and your binoculars ready during your next stay - you never know who might fly in!
