Early morning clean, ready for this afternoon's guest.
As you know we absolutely love this and so much effort goes into cleaning and getting our annexe ready for all guests. We offer a complimentary hamper to each and every guest, doesn't matter how you booked. We offer everyone the same.
But, I hate to write this especially after the previous negative post, but this relates to that post. We woke up this morning to a negative review from that particular guest on Bookings and sadly because of a number of issues over the last 8 months, this latest issue being the last straw, We have decided to come off of Booking.com. A few people have really let us down on that platform, mostly it's been a positive experience but we are getting put down a lot for location, staff and value for money. We work incredibly hard to make it value for money for everyone. Bookings is not an easy platform to use.
This particular guest arrived early, left late, snuggled a dog in and has now complained about her stay on her review.
I am going to address her issues here because the review is public but I can't put my side to the review.
She has claimed the property was too small for the 3 of them and the sofa bed took up too much room.
The sofa bed is easy to fold away and the bedding has a bag.
She claims we have cameras watching them in the garden and as a rural location surrounded by fields we shouldn't need cameras..
Yes, we do have CCTV cameras facing our driveway, we do not spy on guests, we are in a rural location and are a working farm so we have cameras for security reasons and to prevent crime. All farms have cameras. Our insurance insist we have them.
All the issues raised are mentioned on our listing and that's why we ask all guests to read all the information sent to them.
If you are a future guest please read the information and if you have concerns just ask, we are friendly people and we love having you share our space.
