Because we are not your average hostel (and no, we’re not a youth hostel)

In fact, we pride ourselves on being different and we love seeing how surprised our guests are when they walk through the door. We designed The Rocks Hostel at Plas Curig to feel like a cosy home from home in the mountains, whilst still keeping all the best parts of “hostelling” - the community, the stories swapped over coffee, the adventures straight from the front door, and the feeling that everyone’s welcome here.

Whether you’re hiking in Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), road-tripping through North Wales, or just looking for unique places to stay near Yr Wyddfa, we wanted to create somewhere relaxed, warm, and a little bit special.

We might be biased, but we truly think we’re in one of the best spots for exploring North Wales and Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park… and our guests seem to agree.
