Nestled at the foot of the Cuillin Hills stands our sister hotel . In 1987 Seumas’ Bar was built and over the past 38 years, it has become home to countless stories, laughter and legendary moments.

Photoed here are Collie & Mackenzie - two mountaineering icons whose legacy lives on in more ways than one. Seumas’ Bar proudly boasts being the home of the mini sculpture made by Stephen Tinney. The full scale version (1.5X life size), which stands near our hotel and bar, took 18 years to bring to life - between funding, creation, site approval, relocating telephone poles and even a near delay due to covid. This year, it celebrates 5 years in its rightful place.

And if you’ve ever dined at Collies Restaurant or grabbed a drink at Mackenzies Bar, you might be wondering… coincidence? Well let you decide 😉

This year we’re stepping things up a notch - ready to make your jaw drop with not just our extensive whisky collection but with a menu designed to tingle your taste buds and a service that adds to Skye’s magic ✨

We hope you’re as excited as we are for the grand reopening. The countdown is on!⏳⛰️
