We are a small, friendly, family run site. Peaceful, with glorious countryside views, an idylic setting...
Located just 3 miles North of Cardigan, within walking distance to the beautiful- Mwnt beach, and the Wales Coastal path. The site is well layed out, with a brand new insulated facility centre with 2 toilets, 2 showers and a washing up area. There is also free use of a freezer- for ice packs.

we have 3 hard standing pitches and 12 electric hook up points. This is the perfect base for the whole family to explore this enchanting part of west Wales! Why not visit us and experience for yourself the beautiful beaches and superb coastal scenery. A warm welcome awaits you at Ty Mawr.

HURRAH we are back again this year but we are limiting the number of pitches.

From Saturday the 18th of July until the 30th of July we will only be open for Caravans and Motorhomes who have their own facilities on board. There will be 4 Hard Standings with electric hook up.
The facilities on the site will be closed during this time.

From Saturday the 25th of July until the 2nd of November there will be 3 Hard Standings with electric hook up and 4 Tent pitches with or without electric hook up.

The Facilities will be open from Saturday the 25th of July.

Due to Covid - 19

There is a booking sheet for showers, these will be 20 minute per booking with staff cleaning between each use. If you are a family both showers can be used in your booking slot.

We have brought in 4 chemical toilets for the tent pitches. This will ensure that you will be allocated your own toilet for the duration of your stay.

We hope you are all remaining safe and well, and we get to see you later in the year.

Looking for a Knight with a tractor and roller. Our field has been over run by moles who have now been dealt with. Has anyone or can anyone loan / rent or give time with a tractor and roller so we can flatten the field before our camping season begins

Good morning everyone we hope you are all back in the swing of life after the summer holidays. Cardigan has quiten down but still lovely.

We were wandering down by the riverside yesterday and discovered a few things. There was a large 2 tier carpark right on the river with a cafe and restaurant one end looking towards Cardigan Castle and bridge. The other end was an Indian restaurant which is housed inside a boat.

These are a few things in Cardigan to be enjoyed all year round. Hope you like the pictures 😁

Since it has quietened down Nadine and I went to a small coastal village just about 4 miles away. It looked lovely in the sun so I thought I would share some pictures and video ( on the next post )😁 the name of the village is Aberporth, and well worth a visit 🙂
