We’re thrilled to announce the return of Craft Festival Wales, building on the success of an outstanding second year, in the spectacular setting of Cardigan Castle.⁠

Craft Festival Wales is a vibrant celebration of making, supported by Visit Wales and leading arts organisations from Wales and beyond. The festival will host 100 exceptional makers, alongside The Capital of Craft LIVE, demonstrations, exhibitions, workshops, children’s activities, live music, theatre, storytelling and town-wide satellite events.⁠
New for 2026: StartUP⁠

A dedicated area for makers trading for 2 years or less (since Jan 2024), with stands offered at a significantly reduced rate. Designed to support and showcase emerging creative talent.⁠
We invite applications from makers working to the highest standards across ceramics, glass, textiles, jewellery, metal, wood, print, paper, leather, recycled and mixed media.⁠

Once the local police station, our hostel still carries a lot of its original character, including the old cells.

These vintage photos show the officers and the building back in the day. Same walls, new purpose.
