We’ve had donut walls, pick and mix trolleys, photo booths, themed weddings and so many brilliant ideas couples have brought in that completely transformed our Ballroom 🍩 🍬

While many of our guests have been out making the most of the Carlisle sunshine, it's been just as busy inside the hotel too.

And are you an unpack everything neatly or leave your suitcase open on the floor all weekend kind of guest?😂

Personally, we think every stay with us should include at least one trip to the Mitre Bar for a pint or a bite to eat! We’ve also started serving cocktails so pop in and give them a try🍸

We’ve had a few people mention this story on previous posts and it turns out The Beatles really DID get thrown out of the hotel back in the day!

They stopped by in 1963 after playing a show in Carlisle and apparently lasted about five minutes at a golf club presentation before being asked to leave for looking a bit too “rock n roll” for the occasion 🎸😂

If you’re popping in for cocktails, dinner or a catch up in our bar or restaurant anytime soon, just know the dress code has relaxed slightly since 1963 😅
