In the light of the corona virus outbreak, the laundry have just written to us to say that they have changed the temperature regime and chemical composition of their wash to comply with NHS infection control regulations for a healthcare environment. This should help to put anxious customers minds at rest that the linen and towels, that we provide at Glingerbank, are safe for use.

Glingerbank now has home cinema with 5.1 surround sound. The system runs through a Sony AV receiver which outputs to a ceiling mounted projector and/or wide screen TV. The projector can stream movies on Netflix and Amazon prime or play Blueray, DVD and audio CD. Spotify and other music streaming apps can be linked. In addition it can be used for presentations from Laptops, tablets and phones. The screen measures 104 inches diagonally and is electrically powered.

Super fast broadband, fibre to the property, 160mbs is now available at Glingerbank.

Not only is the pool ready but the ground floor rooms are also finished. The bathroom is fully equipped for the disabled including alarms, drive in/ sit down shower and all handles for access.

The pool is complete. Still work to do on the heating and changing rooms but is now available for guests.

Our new website is now up and running- online booking and payment is available on-site through Supercontrol- the prime dedicated software for holiday lettings Watch this space for new videos, photos and features. Rather than have an in-site list of local attractions and amenities, there is now a link to our Pinterest boards, which provide direct links to as many local sites of interest as I can find, sorted into their relevant boards. The site should now be accessible through Google which has not been the case with the previous home-made site.
Any feedback would be much appreciated.

The lift is now installed and there is step free access at the front door. We are currently re-laying all the flagstones and pointing the gaps. The path along the front of the house is now complete, so trips to the hot tub will be much safer.
