After 20 years and over 3,000 weddings I can offer the informal, relaxed and creative style of images that are as individual as you are. With a passion for a craft and a vast local knowledge - come rain or shine - my focus is to produce photographs that highlight the true spirit o

f your wedding. Teamed up with one of the best printing laboratories in the country, Loxley Colour in Glasgow, I can offer - as one of my clients said “ultra professional” products including digitally designed albums, proof books, framing, block prints, mini albums, the list is endless. I do not have a set price list as you will not have a set wedding. Prices are individually quoted and discounts are available for mid-week and through the winter months. I will be happy to make a day or evening appointment for you to discuss your wedding photography requirements, answer all your questions and offer my advice on how to get the best out of what will be a very special day, so please do not hesitate to contact me. THIS WEDDING GOES FULL CIRCLE....

Zak met his future wife Brontie in the local village hall at a party so its only fitting after they said their "Ido's" in the wedding Mecca that is Gretna Green they are having their after party back at the same village hall where their love story started. BUT last Sunday was just for them. A gorgeous young couple, so happy and supported by closest of family and friends it was a privilege to be their photographer.... How on earth can I call what I do as a "job" a "duty" or a "task"!?!?!? When I love what I do and work with the loveliest of people... Delighted to share a little snippet for the all new Mr and Mrs Woodcock-Graves your full collection will be over to you by the end of the week plenty of time for you to share in the village hall ... CATCH OF THE DAY.....

Damian and Naomi's ideal Saturday night is at home chilling with a take away, so when your special day comes around why change anything ... ?!?!? .. Just add in loads of families and friends and a fish and chip supper. .. This wedding had the best easy going energy and set in the most bonny venue in the Scottish Borders what a hidden gem, it was my pleasure to photograph and be part of everything ... Introducing the awesome all new Mr and Mrs Robson ... Oh and thank you for my delicious fish and chips... that's the diet out of the window !! Julie xx 😍

MORE LAUGHING, UNTIL TEARS STREAM DOWN OUR FACES, MORE RANDOM SLOW DANCING WHILE YOU ARE WAITING FOR POTATOES OR BROCCOLI TO COOK...MORE OF YOUR HORRENDOUS SINGING TO ME OF RANDOM SNIPPETS OF SONGS...THROUGH THE HARD TIMES AND THE GOOD I WILL ALWAYS BE BY YOUR SIDE HOLDING YOUR HAND ..." .... FROM HIS STUNNING BRIDE ABBIE ... 😍

It was 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟5 star all the way at the outrageously gorgeous for Zak and Abbie on Saturday. A wedding full of sas and class and a few roller coasters thrown in for good measure !!🤣 These two are just like to peas in a pod, bestest of friends, incredibly tight and a perfect match ... Thank you both for letting me play a small part in your magical day and i hope you all like this tiny highlight, full set by the end of the week... HUGE CONGRATULATIONS the awesome all new Mr and Mrs Ferguson-Hewitt .... 😘Jules x

IN SICKNESS AND IN HEALTH..

It was a total honour on Saturday to cover the wedding of Jack and Shelley at Currock Methodist Church in Carlisle. Planning and organising for any able bodied bride can be a challenge but when you have several medical conditions thrown in as well the whole day could be a struggle .... But not on my watch !! Even during the ceremony when Shelley had to take a little time out I witnessed at first hand what true, unconditional love really is. Jack told me, " I never she her chair or her disabilities I just she her massive heart, her love for our daughter and care free nature" ... Shelley you looked stunning on Saturday and Jack you were and will always be her knight in shinning armor .... With lots and lots of pride tonight I share these few pictures of the all new Mr and Mrs O'Neill .... Julie 😍x

AT LAST ..

At last after a super busy week zigzagging all over the place I am delighted to share this little highlight from Simon and Michala's special day on Sunday. Becoming part of the tradition and history that is Gretna Green they traveled from Warwickshire with their nearest and dearest. I have already had messages from the bride saying " she is so bloody happy "🤣 and they had the most amazing day and can not wait to see their photos .. so here you go guys introducing the very very very happy all new Mr and Mrs Davies... ... Hope you all like and full set will be whizzing over Sunday ..Jules xx

WEDDING WITH 2 V.I.P. GUESTS....

At last starting to see some light at the end of a very long editing tunnel, so sorry for a little delay in highlighting Louis and Katie's special day on bank holiday Monday. An intimate group including 2 V.I.P's (very important pooches) Cockapoo's Rolly and Digger who I had the privilege of chauffeuring to the ceremony, an advantage of owning a dog friendly 4x4 that had air conditioning to keep them chilled out... Hope you all like this snippet of what is to come and delighted to introduce the fabulous all new Mr and Mrs Buckley ... Julie x 👰

THIS WEDDING WAS HOT !!

Delighted on Sunday to have photographed the second wedding for the Blackledge family when Jack married his English rose Lisa and it was a hot one !! We were all melting at Wetheral in the glorious weather and hearts were too when Jack saw his bride walk down the isle... Love the lead photo in this little highlight as it sums these two care free spirits up perfectly on the most perfect of days ... Massive congratulations both I give you the extremely happy all new Mr and Mrs Blackledge... Jx😎😎😎
