We can’t help but feel all the autumn vibes settling in here at Drybeck. On our walks around the farm everything seems to be getting quieter, the colours are shifting, and there’s that unmistakable autumnal feeling drawing in.

Don’t get us wrong — we adore summer on the farm. The bright colours, the flowers, the wildlife, the buzz across the site… it’s a magical time. But we love autumn just as much. The trees turning those gorgeous orange hues, the slight chill in the air, and the soft flicker of lights from the wood‑burning stoves.

We feel incredibly lucky to live in a place that feels special in every season. Every few months the landscape reshapes itself — colours deepen, light softens, wildlife moves differently — and we get a front‑row seat to it all. Watching Drybeck change with the seasons is one of the things that makes this place feel truly magical.

Our Barn‑side camping field wraps up on 21st September, but if you’re still fancying a nights camping, you’re in luck — Riverside stays open right through October.

We’re Extending the Season at Drybeck!

We’ve enjoyed this season so much that… we’ve decided not to let it end just yet.
Drybeck Farm will be keeping our accommodation units open until 17th November, giving you a little extra time to soak up the magic of the farm as it shifts into autumn.

Think icy dips in the River Eden (the brave ones swear it’s invigorating), long slow walks through crisp fields, and warming up afterwards in our brand‑new sauna. Evenings become all about curling up in front of the fires, cosy layers, and that peaceful Drybeck hush that makes you instantly unwind.

If you fancy a last‑minute escape before winter settles in, we’d love to welcome you.

🐾 Dogs at Drybeck!

This weekend the farm was full of gorgeous four‑legged visitors, and honestly… we loved every minute. A few even joined us in the barn for the acoustic set — tails wagging, ears pricked, fully living their best Drybeck life.

If you’re thinking of visiting and wondering whether your dog is welcome, the answer is always yes. Bring them along for river dips, meadow walks, barn hangs, and all the fuss they can handle.
