The Tranquil Otter Luxury Lakeside Lodges with the option of hot tubs on a private nature reserve | 20 min to J44 M6. Watch the stars at night, and explore the lake on a boat.

The Tranquil Otter is a nature reserve with the Lough at its heart. We have eight log cabins on the edge of the Lough and all south-facing to take advantage of the Cumbria sun. Each lodge is private, fully furnished with log burner, a boat and the option of a private hot tub. Picnic on the lake any day (except when windy). A great birthday, wedding, Christmas or any day of year gift. Why not treat yourself to a tranquil break near the Lake District and explore the beautiful English Countryside. Look closely — there’s more than meets the eye by the lake. 🌿 Sometimes the best moments are the unexpected ones. 💚
